Here for sale we have an Ernie Ball Music Man Luke III Electric Guitar in Black finish. Made in the USA in 2016, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Roasted Flame Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Chrome hardware, Schaller M-6 IND Locking Tuners, and an Original Music Man Vintage Tremolo bridge. The pickups installed on this guitar are a Music Man Custom Wound Humbucker in the bridge position, and two Music Man Custom Wound Single Coils with Wide Spectrum MM Silent Circuit in the neck and middle positions. These pickups are wired to a Custom Music Man Active preamp with a master volume (push/push gain boost), a master tone, and a 5-way pickup selector. 
 
The Roasted Flame Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Classic V’ profile adjusting the hand for an ergonomic hold, whilst feeling slender and providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Satin finish aids in effortless navigation up and down the neck, with the Rosewood fingerboard offering a pleasant surface under the fingers. The 12” radius and Narrow frets assist with vibrato techniques and assist with faster playing styles, whilst the double cutaway body design provides uninhibited access to the upper register.
 
The trio of pickups installed in this guitar deliver classic Stratocaster tones with some extra grunt from the humbucker in the bridge. The Music Man Custom Wound Single Coil pickups deliver bright, chiming S-type tones, well suited to a wide range of styles and genres. The neck pickup is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The middle position is bright and clear, and is well suited to funky rhythm sounds. The Music Man Custom Wound Humbucker offers a hotter output, and can easily drive your amp into a saturated distortion tone. A typically great playing instrument from Music Man, and a true tribute to the guitar master, Steve Lukather.
