Here for sale we have an Epiphone WildKat in Antique Natural finish. Built in China in 2014, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body and centre block with Flamed Maple top, Maple neck and a 22 fret Okoume fingerboard. A LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Licensed Bigsby tremolo tailpiece are featured along with a set of sealed Grover tuning machines. A pair of AlNiCo Dogear P-90R pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume, master tone, neck volume and bridge volume controls.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the SlimTaper “D” neck profile feeling comfortable in the hand and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning for easy fretting in all registers. The Gloss finish to the rear works with the single-cutaway body design to assist smooth navigation of the 24.75" scale. The Okoume fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12” radius provides a surface that is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The medium-jumbo frets enhance bending and vibrato techniques, allowing you to take full control of your phrasing. The semi-hollow body design offers great responsiveness and dynamics making the user feel ‘connected’ to the musical experience.
The Dogear P-90R pickups sound thick and full, with a warm low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with a clear and articulate high end. Clean sounds are shimmering and crystal clear, yet the pickups respond well to overdriven tones too- great for solos or an extra bit of grit. The bridge pickup has beautiful clarity, allowing for shimmering trebles to ring through whilst the middle position blends the best of both pickups to create a smooth and well-defined voice. The neck position has rounded, creamy tones that are great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz lines, with the extensive controls offering plenty of room for tone sculpting.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. A moderate scuff is present to the top edge. Light to mild scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the centre of the face running down from the Epiphone logo.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light to mild scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the front face at the bass side lower bout, near the f-hole.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Light indentation is present in the early register There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
