Here for sale we have an Epiphone Slash Les Paul Standard Plus Top Electric Guitar in Tobacco Sunburst finish. Made in China in 2008, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body, a Maple top with a Flame Maple veneer, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Locktone Stopbar, a Locktone Tune-o-Matic bridge, Nickel hardware, and a set of Vintage Tulip tuners. A pair of Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro humbucking pickups are installed and are wired to the standard Les Paul controls.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Slash Custom Profile filling the hand comfortably for a substantial yet articulate grip across the register. The profile is designed to resemble that of Slash’s actual guitar, and is certainly on the large side; leaning into ‘50s neck territory. Being a ‘D’ shape however, there is a slightly flattened area to the centre of the rear which encourages ergonomic thumb positioning, facilitating the kind of rock lead playing which Slash is associated with. The traditional 12” fingerboard radius is paired with medium Jumbo frets to enhance the feel of vibrato and string bending techniques.
Amplified, the pair of Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro humbucking pickups deliver filthy rock tones by the bucket-load. The bridge is bright and articulate, and captures the nuance of your rhythm parts and riffs perfectly, all whilst handling a serious amount of gain. The neck is rounder, and produces plenty of power to push your lead and solo tones to the front of even the densest of mixes. Whilst very well suited to dirty crunch and searing distortion tones, the pickups clean up nicely too, offering beautifully shimmering sounds for those quieter parts of the set.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. The rear of the headstock demonstrates some scuffing and indentations to the top edge and corners, resulting in some white paint transfer that could not be removed during our cleaning process.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The fingerboard and rear of the neck display light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Some excess fret glue is apparent to the treble side of the 18th and 20th fret. This cannot be felt beneath the string and does not affect playability.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and indentation, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. Most notably to the front face, near the cutaway and pickguard.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. The fret ends display minor oxidisation.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Mild tarnishing is apparent to the bridge and tailpiece.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
