Here for sale we have an Epiphone Sheraton semi-hollow body electric guitar in Vintage Sunburst finish. Made in Korea in 1989, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Maple body with centre block, 5-piece Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Gold hardware including Tune-O-Matic bridge, StopBar tailpiece and a set of sealed tuning machines. The pickups fitted are a pair of Epiphone humbuckers, these are wired to a 3-way selector, bridge volume, bridge tone, neck volume and a neck tone control.
The Gloss finish neck plays very well, with a profile that resembles a ‘D’ sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12” radius offers a perfect balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending techniques. The semi-hollow construction gives the guitar a nice open and resonant feel, while keeping unwanted feedback at bay.
The semi-hollow body delivers unique acoustic features. It achieves a delicate balance between body resonance and resistance to feedback, this results in an organic vocal quality that is tactile and responsive to the player's touch. The pair of Epiphone humbucking pickups sound thick and chunky with rich lows, tight, punchy mids and crisp, clear highs. The round and thick tone of the neck position is well complemented by the hotter, brighter bridge pickup which provides all of the bite needed for hard rock lead lines. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound without being intrusive to the playing experience.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall good condition. The front face is subject to light to moderate scratching throughout, most notably around the Epiphone logo. The rear face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light. Scuffing is present to the top edges that has chipped the finish to reveal the wood beneath.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The back of the neck demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light. The neck binding demonstrates some mild cracking throughout the register that cannot be felt beneath the finger or in the playing position. The fingerboard demonstrates mild to moderate pitting on the treble side of frets 1-4, these cannot be felt beneath the string and do not affect playability.
Body: Overall very good condition. The body demonstrates light to mild scratching, scuffing and indentations throughout, none of which pierce the finish to reveal the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate notable signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting of the frets is apparent in the early register, with flattening of the crowns throughout. There is light material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the hardware displays light to mild signs of tarnishing, in line with previous use. Most notably to the pickup covers, bridge and tailpiece which has faded the gold plating.
Structural: No issues or concerns to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
