Here for sale we have an Epiphone Ltd Edition Firebird Studio Electric Guitar in Ebony finish. Made in China in 2010, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body, a Mahogany set-neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Chrome hardware, Dot inlays, a Tune-o-Matic bridge, a Stopbar tailpiece, Steinberger 40:1 direct-drive, gearless tuners, and a set of Alnico Classic Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to two volumes, two tones, and a three-way pickup selector.
The neck profile is carved into what we would describe as a SlimTaper ‘D’, this is a comfortable profile which when combined with the relatively wide shape fills the hand reassuringly without feeling overly cumbersome. The thru neck construction and Firebird design provides excellent access to the upper register, and along with the Rosewood fingerboard and gloss finish a smooth playing experience can be expected in all registers. The weight of the instrument is relatively well distributed thanks to the Steinberger 40:1 direct-drive, gearless tuners making this guitar a perfect gigging companion.
The Firebird comes fitted with Alnico Classic Humbuckers in the bridge and neck which offers incredibly high gain with perfect sustain and clarity with every note. The neck also delivers a very high output with creamy lows and mids. Both pickups provide you with plenty of sustain and warmth which sound at their best when paired with an overdriven amp. The classic wiring of independent volume and tone controls provides plenty of versatility without any complicated switching, making this instrument great for tonal sculpting to the players desired taste.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall very good condition. A light lacquer crack can be seen to the rear of the neck at the 11th fret, this can only be seen under direct light. Light scratching is present to the rear of the neck across the register, these can only be seen under direct light as is common with gloss finishes.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light haziness of the finish can be seen to the front face, this can be seen under direct light. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, common with gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the metal hardware display light to mild tarnishing consistent with past use. The control knobs have been replaced by a previous owner, the original knobs or not included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
