Here for sale we have an Epiphone Limited Edition 7-String Les Paul Classic Electric Guitar in Transparent Black finish. Made in Korea in 2000, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Flamed Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tune-o-Matic bridge, a Stopbar tailpiece, and Chrome enclosed tuners. The pickups installed are a set of Alnico Humbuckers that are wired to traditional Les Paul wiring.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile which might be described as a slim 'D' shape thanks to the lightly flattened area to the centre rear. This encourages ergonomic thumb positioning and is well suited to heavy riffing & fast lead lines as a seven string, the neck of course feels wider in the hand with a nut width of 1.96". Despite this, the profile feels easily manageable & manoeuvrable across the register. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, and with a traditional 12" radius works well for both rhythm and lead techniques.
The Epiphone Alnico 7-String Humbuckers sound balanced and versatile, The Humbucker in the neck produces pristine cleans for intricate chordal and single note lines yet sounding articulate and fluid with high gain whilst the Humbucker in the bridge delivers lush warmth that ensures you will cut through any live mix. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your tone without being intrusive to the playing experience. This guitar is a modern rock machine.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall good condition. All aspects of the headstock demonstrate mild to moderate scratching, indentation and scuff marks. Most notably scratching and indentation to the bass side edge, these have not removed the finish to reveal the wood beneath. The top edge demonstrates indentations and scuff marks, most notably to the treble side corner, where the wood beneath is revealed lightly. The rear face top edge demonstrates scuffing to the finish that reveals the wood beneath.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light indentation and scratching throughout, most notably in line with the 6th fret. These can be lightly felt by the hand in the playing position. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate mild to moderate scratching, scuffing and indentations. Most notably indentation to the front face, at the treble side of the gap between the pickups. Consistent indentation is apparent around the front face and sides of the lower bout and edges. The most severe marking can be found to the bass side lower bout edge of the rear face, where the finish has been removed and reveals the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting is present to the early register and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light scratching and tarnishing is apparent to the bridge, tailpiece and tuners.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2.25mm

Strings on Guitar - 10-46
This guitar demonstrates mild fret noise on the bass strings which is not apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes. The new owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this.
