Here for sale we have an Epiphone Les Paul Standard PRO in Limited Edition Tiger Eye Blue finish. Made in China in 2018, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Flame Maple veneer top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Nickel hardware is fitted including a Tune-O-Matic bridge, StopBar tailpiece and Grover Rotomatic tuning machines. A pair of Epiphone passive humbucking pickups are installed, with a ProBucker 2 in the neck and ProBucker 3 in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, independent volume and tone controls with a coil split for each pick up on the volume controls.

The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the 1960 SlimTaper 'D' profile offering a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The profile is certainly slimmer than is traditional for a Les Paul, and ensures easy reach and comfortable playability. The Pau Ferro fretboard is pleasant under the fingers and with its 12" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. With Medium Jumbo frets, string bending & vibrato techniques are enhanced & feel rock solid under the fingers. The rounded lines of the Les Paul body are as comfortable in the arms as ever, whilst the single cutaway provides unobstructed access to the upper register.

The pair of Epiphone ProBucker 2 & 3 humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and meaty tones, just as you would expect from a Les Paul. The neck is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your solo tones to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is of course brighter and hotter, saturating into a full-bodied distortion tone which is well suited to rock riffing and rhythm parts. The controls feel nicely responsive, allowing you to dial in your perfect tone whilst playing. The addition of independent coil splits adds the versatility of single-coil style tones for those softer sections.
