Here for sale we have an Epiphone Les Paul Standard '60s in an Ebony finish. Made in China in 2020, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Laurel fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Chrome hardware including Tune-O-Matic bridge, StopBar tailpiece and Grover Rotomatic tuning machines. The pickups installed are a pair of Epiphone humbuckers, with a Probucker 2 in the neck and Probucker 3 in the bridge. These are wired to the standard Les Paul controls.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the SlimTaper '60s 'C' profile sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing surface in all registers. Based on Les Paul neck profiles from the '60s, it feels fairly slim whilst retaining the character and dependability you would expect from a Les Paul. The Laurel fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its traditional 12" radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending. The medium jumbo frets offer a rock solid playing surface whilst enhancing vibrato feel.
The pair of Epiphone humbuckers installed in this guitar offer a full and thick tone, exactly as you would expect for a Les Paul Standard. The Probucker 2 in the neck delivers a warm low end, driving mids and rounded yet clear high frequencies, perfect for rock solo tones. The Probucker 3 in the bridge is hotter and provides a bright tone that saturates beautifully into distortion as you crank the gain, easily cutting through the mix. The traditional Les Paul control layout offers comprehensive control of your tone without over-complicating things.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The headstock demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates some light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Light scuffing is apparent to the rear of the neck near the headstock, this cannot be felt beneath the finger or by the hand in playing position. The binding demonstrates some delamination, resulting in discoloration, most notably at the 9th fret. The fretboard demonstrates some dried fret glue in the 13th fret, which cannot be felt beneath the string and does not affect feel or playability.
Body: Overall very good condition. The body demonstrates light to mild scratching throughout, most notably to the bass side of the lower bout. An indentation is present to the bass side lower bout edge that has pierced the finish slightly but has not chipped away to reveal the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Some light tarnishing is present to the hardware, most notably the tuners.
Structural: No issues or concerns to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
