Here for sale we have a left handed Epiphone Les Paul Standard '60s in Bourbon Burst finish. Made in China in 2023, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with AA Flame Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret bound Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with Nickel hardware including a set of Grover Rotomatic tuning machines, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The pickups are a pair of Epiphone Probuckers, with a PB2 in the neck and PB3 in the bridge which are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the SlimTaper '60s 'C' profile filling the hand without being overly thick, and offering a balanced and smooth playing experience across the register. This creates a feeling of dependability whilst remaining articulate enough for technical playing. The traditional 12" fingerboard radius strikes the perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and smooth lead lines, whilst the Medium Jumbo frets provide a rock-solid playing surface and assisting with string bending and vibrato techniques, making for a truly authentic yet refined Les Paul playing experience
The pair of Epiphone Probuckers installed in this guitar offer warm and rich tones, exactly as you would expect from a Les Paul. The neck position is thick and creamy, saturating beautifully into full-bodied distortion as you crank the gain; perfect for lead lines and solos. The bridge position is as bright and biting as you could ever need, helping you to cut through any mix with your rock rhythm tones. Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Very light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Some very light scuffing is present at the bass side rear edge of the lower bout.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
