Here for sale we have an Epiphone Les Paul Prophecy in Black Aged Gloss finish. The Prophecy series was originally introduced in 2008, and was aimed at contemporary hard rock and metal players. The series has been one of Epiphone's most popular offerings ever since. The series received a redesign in 2021, adding new modern features that further improve playability & tone. 
 
Made in China in 2020, this example features a Mahogany body with Carved Hard Maple Cap, Mahogany neck and 24 fret Ebony fingerboard. Brushed Nickel hardware is fitted including an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and StopBar tailpiece, along with a set of Grover Locking Rotomatic tuning machines. A pair of Fishman Fluence Epiphone Prophecy humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, independent volume and tone controls and push/pull features for coil splitting and vintage/modern pickup voicings.
 
The Mahogany neck plays exceptionally well, with the Asymmetrical Slim Taper profile feeling particularly slender and articulate in the hand. Slightly thicker at the bass side than the treble, the profile is designed to provide a razor-sharp and accurate playing experience across the register. Certainly, there is plenty to grasp on the bass side for your power chords and heavy riffing, whilst the slimness of the treble side ensures that your lead lines and solos are an effortless affair. Combined with the sculpted neck heel, the entire register of the instrument feels incredibly easy to access. The Ebony of the fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, whilst the Jumbo frets improve the feel of vibrato and string bending techniques. 
 
The pair of Fishman Fluence Epiphone Prophecy humbucking pickups installed in this instrument deliver an impressive range of tones thanks to the extensive push/pull controls. Each pickup can be configured in a vintage or modern voicing at the tone pot, as well as split down into a single-coil in either voicing. The neck pickup delivers a thick and full-bodied tone, perfect for lead lines and solos thanks to a powerful output. The bridge is of course brighter, cutting easily through the mix when driving the amp. A refined playing experience for the modern guitarist, and a wide range of tones that work in a plethora of musical settings.
