Here for sale we have an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Plus Electric Guitar in Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in China in 2006, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Flamed Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Gold hardware, a Tune-o-Matic bridge, a Stopbar tailpiece, and a set of Grover tuners. The pickups installed are a set of Epiphone Alnico Classic humbuckers that are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the SlimTaper profile feeling slim and providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The single cutaway body design provides the player with unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those high end lead lines.
The Epiphone Alnico Classic in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Epiphone Alnico Classic in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light to mild scratching throughout, with finish imperfections to the top edge, resulting in small raised dots.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. A small finish imperfection is apparent in line with the 10th fret, to the treble side. Neither the scratches nor raised dots can be felt by the hand in the playing position.
Body: Overall good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching and indentations. Most notably consistent scratching to the rear face. The bass side shoulder, starting from the strap button and ending at the waist, demonstrates a strip of what we have determined to be hardened super glue. Potentially from a previous owner glueing the strap button in place? Light scratching is apparent surrounding the residue.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability.
There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light scratching, tarnishing and fading of the gold plating is apparent to the tuners, bridge, tailpiece and pickup covers.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
