Here for sale we have a Epiphone Les Paul Custom in Alpine White finish. Made in Korea in 2004, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Gold hardware including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece along with Grover sealed tuning machines. The Pickups are a pair of Epiphone Alnico Classic humbuckers, wired to a 3-way selector, bridge volume with and tone and neck volume and tone controls.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the SlimTaper ‘D’ profile feeling slim and providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The single cutaway body design provides the player with unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those high end lead lines.
The Epiphone Alnico Classic in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Epiphone Alnico Classic in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.
