Here for sale we have an Epiphone Les Paul Classic T in Midnight Sapphire finish. Made in China in 2014, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a carved Flamed Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Nickel hardware including Min-ETune robotic tuning system, LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge and StopBar tailpiece. The pickups installed are a pair of Epiphone Ceramic PRO humbuckers which are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, and independent volume and tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with the 1960s SlimTaper D profile feeling incredibly comfortable in the hand, providing a substantial playing experience without being at all cumbersome. The gloss finish to the rear creates a slick feeling in the hand and ensures that navigation of the 24.75” scale is a smooth and breezy affair. The traditional 12” fingerboard radius is as practical as ever, whilst its Rosewood construction provides a smooth and durable playing surface right the way up the register. The Medium Jumbo frets provide a rock-solid playing surface whilst enhancing the feel of vibrato and string bending techniques.
The Min-ETune robotic tuning system delivers fantastic convenience, with standard and alternate tunings ready at the touch of a button, along with the option for user programmable tunings. This model features the robotic tuners the year before Gibson rolled them out on all of their guitars, almost as a test run.
The pair of Epiphone Ceramic PRO humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, just as you would expect from a Les Paul. The neck pickup is warm and round, perfect for solo sounds or shimmering clean sounds. The bridge pickup is of course brighter, and offers a high output tone that drives the front end of an amp beautifully for saturated rhythm parts.
