Here for sale we have a Epiphone Inspired By Gibson Flying V in Ebony finish. Made in China in 2025, this guitar is based on the 1958 Flying V specification featuring a set-neck construction and comprises a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Laurel fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted, including a Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, a Flying V String-Thru StopBar tailpiece, as well as a set of Epiphone Vintage Deluxe 18:1 ratio tuning machines. The pickups installed are a Probucker 2 Humbucker in the neck, and a Probucker 3 Humbucker in the bridge position, these are wired to a 3-way pickup selector, bridge volume, neck volume and a master toner control.
The Mahogany neck plays beautifully, with the Slimetaper ‘C’ profile which provides a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The Gloss finish to the rear assists with navigation of the 24.75" scale, whilst the design of the body ensures that access to the top frets is completely unrestricted. The Laurel of the fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its traditional 12" radius is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. Indeed, fast articulate lead lines are just as manageable as chord playing and riffs.
The pair of Probucker humbuckers in this guitar offer a thick and meaty tone, great for blues and rock styles. The Probucker 2 neck pickup provides a warm, round tone that is well suited to smoothing out solo and lead lines, whilst the Probucker 3 humbucker in the bridge has a hot output. It produces a biting tone which easily cuts through the mix for those rock rhythm sounds and has a great harmonic register. The simple control layout allows the player to adjust their tone without hassle, making for a great ‘Plug in and Play’ guitar with killer looks that will wow even the saltiest of characters.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects demonstrate very light scratching, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. Any other markings are difficult to discern.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates very light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, the most apparent of these can be seen to the rear of the body by the neck joint. The bass side bottom tip displays light lacquer cracking, this has lightly exposed the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light tarnishing is apparent to the bridge and pickup covers.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
