Here for sale we have an Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom 1958 Korina Flying V in Aged Natural finish. Made in China in 2024, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Korina body, Korina neck & 22 fret Laurel fingerboard. Gold hardware is fitted including an ABR-1 style bridge & a set of Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines with 'Tulip' style buttons. A pair of Gibson passive humbucking pickups are installed, with a Burstbucker 2 in the neck and a Burstbucker 3 in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, independent volume controls & a master tone. 
 
The Korina neck plays very well, with Epiphone's 1958 Flying V profile feeling somewhat like a rounded 'C' shape which sits very comfortably in the hand. The smooth Satin finish to the rear of the neck assists with smooth navigation of the 25.75" scale, whilst fret access is of course completely unrestricted thanks to the 'V' design. The Laurel of the fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The medium jumbo frets improve the feel of vibrato & string bending techniques and provide a rock-solid feel. 
 
The pair of Gibson Burstbucker pickups are a seriously premium addition to the Epiphone spec. The Burstbucker is Gibson's closest modern reproduction of the legendary PAF pickup which pioneered the humbucker back in the late '50s and became recognised as one of the most important pickups ever produced. The Burstbucker 2 in the neck is round & sweet, and works beautifully for melodic lead lines & solos. The BB3 in the bridge is of course brighter, and cuts through even the densest of mixes with ease. A seriously premium feeling instrument from Epiphone that pays homage to Gibson's most futuristic designs.
