Here for sale we have a Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard in Aged LemonBurst Finish. Made in China in 2021, this set-neck guitar features a Mahogany body matched with a AAA Figured Maple Veneer top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Indian Laurel fretboard. The hardware featured on this guitar consists of a LockTone ABR-1 bridge and a LockTone StopBar, a set of Wilkinson Deluxe tuning machines. The pickups in this guitar are a set of Gibson BurstBuckers with a Burstbucker 2 in the neck and a burstbucker 3 in the bridge, this guitar features 50s-Era Wiring with CTS Pots and Mallory Capacitors wired to a 3-way selector and independent volume and tone controls.
The '59 Rounded "C" profile neck feels chunky but is easy to manoeuver, with help from the Satin finish providing a sense of familiarity to the playing experience. The 12” Indian Laurel fretboard feels smooth under the fingers when playing, and assists with fluid transitions, as well as bending and vibrato techniques. The single cutaway offers great comfort and uninhibited access to the higher register, making lead lines effortless and welcoming to a wide range of styles.
The pair of Gibson BurstBucker humbuckers sound thick and full, with a warm low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with a clear and articulate high end. They are clear and articulate, and respond well to overdriven tones, great for solos or an extra bit of grit. The bridge pickup has beautiful clarity, allowing for shimmering trebles to ring through whilst the middle position is the best of both the neck and bridge pickup, creating smooth and defined voicings. The neck position has rounded creamer tones great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, offering plenty of room for tonal scaping.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, most notably to the treble side of the 'Epiphone' logo. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall excellent condition. The bass string side of the lower bout demonstrates a mild scratch that does not reveal the wood beneath. Any other markings to the body are difficult to discern.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with mild denting in the early register, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. The hardware demonstrates very light signs of previous use.
