Here for sale we have an Enya NEXG Smart Electric Guitar (First Generation) in Carbon Fiber finish. Made in China, this innovative instrument takes inspiration from Yamaha's line of silent guitars, allowing for silent practice in any situation without disturbing anyone. The bass side 'frame' is quickly and easily removed, and fits easily into the supplied gig bag along with all of the accessories, making this guitar an extremely portable instrument. A one-piece construction is employed, using Carbon Fiber Composite to house all of the extensive electronics. An NEXG unit is installed, which processes the signal from an undersaddle piezo pickup to produce a range of sounds through the on-board hi-fi speaker system, or can be routed out through either the 1/4" jack output or 3.5mm headphone jack output.
The Carbon Fiber Composite neck plays well, with a profile which could be described as a rather slim soft 'V' shape which offers a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 14" radius is well suited to a wide range of styles and techniques. With the removable side panel attached, the guitar feels surprisingly familiar in the arms, whilst its compact size and short 23.7" scale length ensure that the instrument is compact enough for playing in any situation - even on a bus or train should the mood take you.
Without turning on the NEXG preamp control, the acoustic sound of the Enya NEXG is similar to that of an unplugged solid body electric guitar. This means that with headphones the guitar can be played in almost any situation without disturbing anyone in your surroundings. The on-board NEXG preamp system offers a wide range of sounds, as well as an impressive amount of options for playing. On-board speakers mean you can play without any additional equipment. 1/4" line out allows you to plug into a traditional amplifier or mixer, and the 3.5mm headphone port facilitates the use of the supplied headphones or any other headphones of your choice. An on-board tuner is also included, as well as bluetooth connectivity. A highly practical travel guitar with a wide range of sounds and applications.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the headstock.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.
Body: Overall very good condition, the sticker to the bottom has been removed. There is some misalignment of the replacement unit to the original screen and inputs. The button caps are missing from the control panel but the buttons themselves are still functional.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional.
Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of use. The screws which fix the bass side bout/armrest have been replaced with appropriate ones which do fix the part securely, but would not allow for a strap button and require a screwdriver to remove them.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.5mm

Electrics:
The original NEXG unit has been replaced with a NEXG 2 unit. This does not have all the inputs/outputs that the previous unit had, and as such only has a headphone slot where the phone aux phone input originally was, as well as a USB C charging port, line in and line out. The included microphone is not functional. The capsule has broken off and there is corrosion inside the battery compartment.
