Here for sale we have a Dingwall D-Roc Standard Multi-Scale 4-String Electric Bass in Metallic Black finish. Made in China, this bolt-on constructed bass consists of a Khaya body, a 5-piece Maple neck, and a 20-fret fanned Pau Ferro fingerboard. Other appointments include a Dingwall ‘Minimalist’ one-piece bridge, Banjo-Sized frets, and a set of three Dingwall FD3n pickups with Neodymium Magnets. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a 4-way quad-tone pickup selector.
 
The neck is made using 5 pieces of Maple helping to make it really sturdy, further helped by a heavy duty truss rod. The Medium Thin C Shape is great to play and the radius is fairly rounded for comfortable fretting. This is a multiscale bass with a scale length of 34” (G) -36.25” (E), this allows for the lower notes to be a little bit clearer sounding thanks to the added tension on the string. The angle of the fanned frets moves fairly evenly up the neck, with the neutral point at the 8th.
 
Hand selected FD-3N pickups bring an aggressive, smooth tone to the table, as well as a much higher output thanks to the Neodymium magnets. The bass has extensive tonal options with a Master Volume, 4 Position Rotary Pickup Selector (1. Bridge Soloed, 2. Bridge/Neck in Parallel, 3. Bridge/Neck in Series 4. Neck Soloed) and a Master Tone control to experience every sonic flavour this bass has to offer.
