Here for sale we have a DeArmond Starfire Semi Hollow Electric Guitar in Gloss Black finish. Made in Korea in the late '90s to early 00's this guitar consists of a laminate Maple body with a solid centre block, a Maple neck, and a 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a tune-o-matic bridge, Chrome die-cast sealed tuners, and a pair of USA built Gold Tone humbuckers. These pickups are wired to dual volume & tone controls, and a 3-way toggle switch.
The gloss finish neck plays well, feeling somewhere between a 'C' and a 'U', with a comfortable rounded shape without being too chunky. The semi hollow body offers a lively and responsive playing experience, while the centre block keeps things feeling controlled enough to be able to still use plenty of gain when needed.
Equipped in this instrument are a set of DeArmond Gold Tone Humbuckers which sound thick and full, with a rich low end and a powerful midrange, while keeping a crisp, clear top end, offering quite an articulate tone. This guitar is great for Jazz, Rock or Blues, with the thinline hollow body ensuring minimal feedback. The classic wiring of independent volume and tone controls means that this is a very easy guitar to dial in with perfect balance between each pickup.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates consistent light to moderate scratching, most notably around the top of the truss rod cover. The top edge demonstrates scuffing and paint transfer that we have been unable to remove.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates very light scratching throughout the register which is visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Body: Overall very good condition, the rear face demonstrates light yet consistent buckle rash, causing a hazing of the finish in some places. All aspects demonstrate very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles, as is common with high gloss finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear, most notably oxidation and scratching on the bass side of the bridge pickup cover.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
