Here for sale we have a Dean DS-92 electric guitar in Black. Featuring a bolt-on construction featuring a Maple neck 24 Rosewood fingerboard this guitar also features Gold Hardware including sealed tuning machines, locking nut and Licensed Floyd Rose tremolo system. A pair of Dean singlecoils are fitted in the neck and middle positions while a Dean humbucker is fitted in the bridge. A 5-way pickup selector and master volume is fitted. Two tone knobs are wired to the neck and middle singlecoils.
The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile that might be described as a ‘D’ shape, which whilst fairly substantial in the hand remains slim enough for fast articulate playing across the register. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck ensures smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale, whilst the double cutaway body design provides uninhibited access to the upper frets. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques.
The pickups in this guitar offer a great versatile sound, they produce a mixture of sparkly tones with a hint of a darker undertones, whilst retaining clarity with each note. The humbucker in the bridge provides a full driving mid range with the best natural harmonic overtones, and a top end that produces a crunchy edge. The single-coil in the middle position produces a smooth single coil sound with more output and more mids, providing bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The single-coil in the neck position provides a warm, rounded sound, offering a smooth tone that handles distorted tones as well as it handles clean tones.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the edges of the head, these have not broken through the finish can can be seen under close scrutiny. Light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can be seen under direct light.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light discoloration is present to the rear of the neck throughout the register, this is common with regular past use.
Body: Overall good condition. Light lacquer cracking can be seen to the front face between the middle and neck pickups and near both bridge posts, these are not structural and do not effect the guitar. A very small finish crack can be seen to the treble side neck pocket. All aspects of the body display light to moderate scratching, indentation and paint transfers, this is common with a guitar of this age. Missing backplate.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. No truss rod tool included (hex 4mm)
Hardware: Overall good condition. All aspects of the metal hardware display moderate signs of tarnishing of the finish. The screw holes for bridge posts display mild tooling marks, these still function as they should. A crack is present to the bridge pickup ring, this does not effect its structure. Tremolo arm included. Backplate not included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Strings on Guitar - 9-42
This guitar demonstrates mild fret noise which is not apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes. The new owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this.
