Here for sale we have a Danelectro Convertible Reissue Hollow Body Electric Guitar in White finish. Made in Korea, this bolt-on constructed guitar consists of a Laminated Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Danelectro stamped closed tuners, a Danelectro tailpiece, a Rosewood bridge, and a single coil lipstick pickup. This pickup is wired to a stacked volume and tone control. 
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with what might be described as a 'D' profile that provides comfortable playability in all registers. The Gloss finish to the rear ensures that navigation of the 25" scale is a smooth and effortless affair. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 14" radius offers a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The Laminated Maple construction keeps the weight down to just 5.5lbs, meaning this guitar is nice and light on the shoulders. 
 
Unplugged, the acoustic voice of this guitar is surprisingly loud, offering a timbre similar to that of a Gypsy Jazz guitar, which makes it perfect for accompanying vocals or general rhythm playing in low volume environments. The single coil lipstick pickup gives this guitar an incredibly unique tone, with the airiness of the hollow body combined with the balanced sound of the pickup truly producing an 'electric-acoustic' sound in it's truest sense!
