Here for sale we have a Danelectro '59M NOS+ Electric Guitar in Ice Grey finish. Made in Korea, this guitar consists of a chambered Masonite body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Other appointments include enclosed tuning machines, chrome hardware, and two NOS lipstick single coil pickups that are wired to two independent stacked volume and tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck plays very well, with what might be described as a rounded 'C' profile that provides comfortable playability in all registers. The Gloss finish to the rear ensures that navigation of the 25" scale is a smooth and effortless affair. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 20" radius offers a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The Masonite construction keeps the weight down to just 6.35lbs, meaning this guitar is nice and light on the shoulders.
The Masonite body construction ensures a beautiful resonance and nicely open tone that suits this style of guitar perfectly. The pair of Lipstick single-coils installed deliver a bright and sparkling sound that will cut easily through even the most saturated of mixes The stacked individual volume and tone controls are intuitive to use, giving enough versatility without over complicating things. They also provide a varied tonal palette giving you sound to fill a range of genres.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates some light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. These cannot be felt by the hand in the playing position. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to moderate scratching throughout. Most notably scratching to the bass side horn of the front face.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. A small scratch is apparent to the pickguard, towards the bottom near the strap button edge.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
