Here for sale we have a D'Angelico Excel Tour DC semi hollow body electric guitar in Transparent Cherry finish. Made in Korea in 2021, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Maple body with centre block, a 3-Piece Maple neck and 22 Jescar 47/104 Nickel Silver fret Rosewood fingerboard with Split Block Mother of Pearl inlays. This guitar is fitted with Gold hardware including Tune-O-Matic bridge, Stairstep tailpiece and Grover 150 Imperial tuning machines. The pickups fitted in this guitar are a pair of USA Seymour Duncan 59 humbuckers, these are wired to a 3-way selector, two volumes and two tones with push/pull split.
 
The Gloss finish Maple neck plays very well, with the ‘C’ profile feeling slender, sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets offer a perfect balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending techniques. The semi-hollow construction gives the guitar a nice open and resonant feel, while keeping unwanted feedback at bay thanks to the centreblock.
 
The semi-hollow body delivers unique acoustic features. It achieves a delicate balance between body resonance and resistance to feedback, this results in an organic vocal quality that is tactile and responsive to the player's touch. The humbuckers sound thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output,  providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound without being intrusive to the playing experience.
