Here for sale we have a Crafter STA-M Slim Archtop hybrid guitar in Midnight Blue finish. Made in Korea in 2007 this guitar is clearly an homage to the Taylor T5 series, taking many styling cues & specification inspiration from those guitars. A set-neck construction is employed, and comprises a Mahogany body with Arched Spruce top, Mahogany neck and 21 fret Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. Synthetic Bone saddle & nut are fitted, along with a set of Chrome sealed tuning machines. An LR Baggs undersaddle piezo pickup is installed, along with a Kent Armstrong P90. These are wired to a 3-way mini toggle switch & independent volume & tone controls.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a moderately-sized C-Shape profile which fills the hand nicely for a substantial but not at all cumbersome playing experience across the register. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is pleasant, and with a nicely flat radius of 14" is practical for a wide range of playing styles & techniques. The generous cutaway enhances access to the upper frets, really opening up the full register of the instrument.
Amplified, the piezo pickup works in conjunction with the Kent Armstrong P90 to deliver a seriously versatile range of tones. Full on acoustic jangle is available from the piezo, whilst the P90 produces a thick powerful tone which works well for overdrive & bluesy tones. The independent controls are comprehensive, allowing you to blend the pickups in any combination, and dial in your perfect tone. A much more affordable taste of the T5.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The top rear edge demonstrates a moderate indentation chipping the finish and revealing the wood beneath. Light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.
Body: Overall excellent condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate infrequent very light scratching and indentation, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles, as is common with high gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: The truss rod is non functioning, and relief is not adjustable. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
