Here for sale we have a Cort G290 FAT II Electric Guitar in Bright Blue Burst finish. Made in Indonesia in 2023, this guitar features a bolt-on construction consisting of a Alder body with a Flamed Maple top, a Roasted Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Roasted Maple fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with a Cort CFA-III Tremolo bridge, a Graph Tech Black TUSQ Nut and a set of Cort Staggered Locking tuning machines. The pickups in this guitar are a pair of Cort Voiced Tone VTH77 humbuckers, these are wired to a 5-way blade selector, master volume and a master tone control.
The Roasted Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, the ’Ergo-V’ profile is slender, filling the hand nicely for a smooth and articulate playing experience up and down the neck along with the Satin finish. The 12”-15.75" Compound Radius Roasted Maple fingerboard has 22 Medium Jumbo frets, assisting with string bends and vibrato techniques, delivering a tailored playing experience in any position, whilst offering a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for quick lead lines.
The direct mount Cort Voiced Tone VTH77 humbuckers produce a hot output, these pickups deliver rich harmonics, cutting highs and snarling mids in spades. The bridge pickup provides a fat and punchy humbucker-like sound, making power chords sound gritty, whilst also providing soaring lead tones with broad tonal dynamics. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone making harmonics sing with a bell like tonality. The neck pickup offers a smooth, warm, rounded tone that handles distorted tones as well as it handles clean tones.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Very light delamination can be seen surrounding the tuning machines to the front face, the most apparent being seen around the low E tuning machine.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.
Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light signs of past use.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
