Here for sale we have a Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HSS HT E Sassafras Electric Guitar in Satin Black finish. Made in Mexico in 2020, this guitar consists of a Sassafras body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include Charvel HT6 String-Through-Body Hardtail bridge, a set of Charvel-Branded Die-Cast Locking tuners, and Black hardware. The pickups installed in this guitar are two Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 Single-Coil pickups in the neck and middle position, and a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 humbucker in the bridge position. These pickups are wired to a volume control, tone control, and a 5-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck plays very well, with Charvel's popular ‘Speed Neck’ profile offering a comfortably slim neck which manages to fill the hand whilst allowing you to traverse the fingerboard with ease. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and, combining with the satin finish on the rear of the neck to provide a smooth and durable playing surface right the way up to the 22nd fret. The 12"-16” compound radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing; balanced perfectly between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines and solos, with the flatter radius on the higher registers responding well to deep bends.
The combination of pickups in this guitar allow for a versatile selection of tones, with a pair of Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 Single-Coil pickups installed in the neck and middle positions of this guitar delivering a punchy tone which respond well to high gain, with a thicker sound that your typical Stratocaster pickup. The Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 humbucker in the bridge position works perfectly for searing distortion tones and articulate lead lines. The pickups are wired to a single master volume control making dialling in the perfect tone a breeze.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you.
