Here for sale we have a Caparison C2 Series DEG-E-HH (Prototype) Electric Guitar in Gloss Black finish. Made by Caparison as part of a small sample of the work of an OEM factory in China, they then decided to continue with a different factory in Japan instead. This makes this guitar a particularly unique Caparison to own! Made in China, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body, a Maple neck, and a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Floyd Rose tremolo system, a locking nut, and Black Chrome hardware. The guitar has been upgraded with a set of Active Seymour Duncan Blackout Humbuckers that are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Thin 'D' neck profile feels extremely sharp and precise, with the satin finish to the rear ensuring smooth and fluid transitions up or down the neck. Bolt-on construction provides completely unrestricted access to the upper register, and along with the Rosewood fingerboard we are guaranteed a razor sharp playing experience in all registers. The Mahogany body provides a reassuring weight and sense of luxury to the instrument, whilst the body contours make it a very comfortable guitar to play on long gigs and practice sessions.
The Active Seymour Duncan Blackout Humbucking pickups have a hot and aggressive voicing, while still offering a broad range of tonal variation. The humbucker at the bridge is thick and powerful with a solid middle range, whilst also providing crystal clear clean tones when rolling the volume back. The Blackout humbucker in the neck has a warmer, more open sound, while balancing exceptionally well with the Blackout bridge humbucker, the warmer tone is perfect for rounding out soloing sections. Overall a great workhorse guitar for heavier genres with a broad range of tones and a very comfortable neck.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall good condition. The front face demonstrates light to mild scratching, most notably surrounding the A string winding post. Light indentation is apparent to the front face and binding near the tip, with further light indentation to the tip of the rear face.
Neck: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard demonstrate very light scratching that cannot be felt by the hand in playing position, or by the fingers beneath the strings. Small cracks are apparent to the binding throughout the register.
Body: Overall good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching, scuffing and indentations. Notable indentation is apparent to the bass side of the lower bout, along the body contour edge, at the front face and sides. Smaller indentation is apparent to the treble side lower bout. Concentrated scratching is apparent to the rear face, consistent with buckle rash.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting is present to the early register and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and good condition. Moderate tarnishing and scratching is apparent to the tuners, controls and bridge.
The tremolo arm is non original.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm

Overall good condition. The outer shell demonstrates moderate signs of previous use, with scratching, scuffing and blue spray paint in some areas. The inner lining is in very good condition. One of the clasp hinges has broken but is included for use in future repairs.
