Here for sale we have a Burns Marquee Club Series Electric Guitar in Black finish. Made in Korea in 2007, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Hard Rock Maple neck, and a 22-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a Burns Deluxe Tremolo system, Gold hardware, a Scroll headstock, and a trio of Burns Alnico Rez-o-matik single coil pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, neck tone, middle tone (push/pull), and a 5-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘U’ profile offering a substantial feel in the hand, whilst the gloss finish on the back aids in smooth movement up and down the register. The Maple fretboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius making chordal playing, bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The Alder body is robust and weighty, giving it a dependable feel. The shape of the body and the back contours make it feel comfortable to play either standing or sitting.
The trio of Burns Alnico Rez-o-matik pickups installed in this guitar offer a rich set of tones suitable for a wide range of styles. The neck pickup is nicely warm, with plenty of thickness for lead lines and solos. Funky tones are present in the middle position whilst the bridge has all the brightness required for country or blues. A versatile instrument that provides a broad tonal palette for the user to explore. The push/pull tone control engages the neck pickup in all 5 positions, meaning that in position 4 you can use all 3 pickups at once, this offers a plethora of tonal options for the player to explore.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching, scuffing and indentation throughout. Most notably the bass side waist which demonstrates 2 indentations that have cracked the finish but not removed any to reveal the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with mild denting in the early register, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. The bridge demonstrates moderate tarnishing, dulling the gold plating to silver in some areas.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
