Here for sale we have a Breedlove Passport C200/SMP acoustic guitar in Natural Semi-Gloss finish. Made in Korea in 2010, this guitar features a dovetail construction comprising a Solid Sitka Spruce top, Laminated Stained Maple back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret East Indian Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. The body is double bound in black, whilst the top is adorned with a multi-stripe rosette. A set of Chrome tuning machines are fitted to the headstock.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile which might be described as a moderately-sized 'C' shape which fills the hand nicely for a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The Rosewood fingerboard is notably dark in appearance, and with a nice tight grain provides a pleasant and durable playing surface for the player to explore. The 16" fingerboard radius is traditional for a guitar of this style and ensures practicality for a wide range of styles and techniques. The smooth lines of the body are comfortable in the arms and ensure that long practice sessions are a breeze.
The acoustic voice of the Breedlove Passport C200/SMP is well balanced thanks to its OM style body design. Smaller than a dreadnought but larger than Parlor & 00 guitars, this body design avoids the 'boominess' often associated with dreadnoughts whilst still delivering more volume than you might expect from a Parlor guitar. The Solid Sitka Spruce top projects well and provides a wide and sensitive dynamic range. The Laminated Maple back and sides deliver a bright and snappy tone whilst retaining an understated yet precise bass response. A well made instrument at a very reasonable price.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the headstock.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has begun to polish to a light gloss through regular use. A very light indentation is present at the bass side of the 2nd fret. Any other markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. A notable indentation which cracks the finish is apparent to the bass side of the soundhole. A milder indentation to the front face can be seen by the lower strap button. The treble side of the sound hole shows finish wear consistent with the use of a pick. The centre of the rear face shows mild indentation which does not pierce the finish, consistent with light buckle rash.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Truss Rod: Fully functional and adjustable. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional with very light signs of use.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
