Here for sale we have an Atkin E000-A Electro Acoustic Guitar in Age Toned Relic Gloss Nitrocellulose finish. Atkin Guitars was founded in Canterbury, England in 1995. Every instrument is hand-crafted, and having started as a one-man operation they now stand sixteen strong and can build around 750 guitars a year. Atkin Guitars have quickly become renowned as one of the greatest Acoustic Guitar brands on the market at the moment, with more and more established professional musicians choosing Atkin over everything else. Their quality and passion for detail shine through in every instrument they produce with no exception. 
 
Made in the United Kingdom in 2019, this guitar consists of a Solid Baked North American Sitka Spruce, Solid Mahogany back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other features include a Santos Rosewood headstock overlay, Pre-war Scalloped bracing, a Bone nut and saddle, Nickel Gotoh tuners, and Mother-of-Pearl inlays. The guitar has also been fitted with an aftermarket Fishman humbucking soundhole-mounted passive pickup with a volume control that can be found on the pickup itself. 
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a substantial ‘C’ profile sitting very comfortably in the hand and providing easy fretting and ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with attractive Mother of Pearl inlays adds a real sense of luxury to the playing experience. The traditional 16" radius remains as practical as ever, well suited to both chordal, fingerstyle and melodic playing styles across the register. The Aged Gloss Nitrocellulose finish to the back of the neck provides a perfectly played in feel, adding to the comfortability and joyful playing experience that this guitar provides. 
 
The all solid construction allows the tonewoods to resonate clearly, the Mahogany back and sides provide a fathomless, rich and warm voicing with an impeccable low end and midrange. The Baked North American Spruce top and pre-war scalloped bracing ensures increased bass response, whilst complementing the Spruce offering a vast and dynamic tonal landscape. The soundhole-mounted Fishman pickup offers the ability to amplify the guitar in a live setting, faithfully reproducing the acoustic tone so that it can be delivered to the masses.
