Here for sale we have an Aria Pro II PE-460 Electric Guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in Japan in 1980, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Mahogany body with Maple top, a three-piece Birch & 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. The hardware featured on this guitar consists of a Supermatic bridge and Aria Pro ll sealed thing machines. The pickups featured are a pair of Protomatic II humbucking pickups, these are wired to a 3-way pickup selector, master volume control, master tone control and a phase reverse switch.
The gloss finish neck sits comfortably in the hand, feeling smooth with a relatively thin profile that provides ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the register. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius making chordal playing, bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The contoured cutaway provides unobstructed access to the upper register.
The pair of Protomatic Il humbuckers provide tones that are thick and full. The Protomatic II in the neck offers boosted mids, big lows and fat highs, and is perfect for rock and metal lead tones. The Protomatic II humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips, whilst the phase switch allows for an extra dose of tonal diversity, opening up a new range of tones for the player.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light to moderate indentations to the edges of the headstock expose the wood in places, most notably at the top edge. Light to mild scratching to the front face can be seen under direct light, as is common for a guitar of this age.
Neck: Overall very good condition. A light indentation to the fingerboard is present at the 2nd fret. This can be seen under close scrutiny and is not felt in the playing position. Light indentations are present to the rear of the neck with the most apparent found at the 12th fret where the finish has lightly chipped away exposing the wood beneath This can be felt under the thumb in the playing position. A small amount of glue residue can be seen at the neck joint.
Body: Overall good condition. All aspects of the body display mild to moderate indentations. This is most apparent to the edges of the lower bout where the indentations have exposed moderate amounts of the wood beneath the finish. Similar mild chipping is present at the rear edge of the lower horn. Mild to moderate scratching is present to all aspects of the body. This is most apparent to the center of the rear face. Chipping of the finish can be seen to the front face edges, these have lightly exposed the wood.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall good condition. The bridge & tuning machines show mild oxidation & tarnishing. The 6th E tuning post is slightly bent but functions as expected. A screw is missing from the control plate.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
