Here for sale we have a Yamaha LL6 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar from 2011 in Natural Gloss finish. Made in China, this guitar features a solid Engelmann Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, a 3-piece Mahogany/Rosewood neck, a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard, a Rosewood bridge, a Dovetail neck joint, and Die-Cast tuners. The body is double bound, with multi-stripe purfling and an Abalone rosette.
The neck plays very well, with a fairly chunky but easy to get along with profile that gives excellent thumb positioning, making for comfortable fretting in all registers. The gloss finish to the rear of the neck makes for a smooth, responsive playing experience. The Rosewood selected in this particular example is very dark in appearance adding a real sense of luxury. Yamaha's "Original Jumbo" body is responsive and dynamic, giving an engaging playing experience, filling the arms nicely, somewhere between traditional jumbo and dreadnought designs.
The Engelmann Spruce top really lets the LL6 project with ease, sounding open and clear, complemented beautifully by the Rosewood back and sides. The Engelmann Spruce top projects fantastically well, and adds a real snap and sparkle to every note played on the instrument. There is plenty of dynamic range on offer, and the instrument feels very responsive to the player's touch. The Yamaha LL6 projects superbly, filling a room with ease, making this guitar perfect for singer/songwriter styles of playing. Overall, this is an absolute workhorse of an instrument that is sure to deliver every time it is played.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Any markings are difficult to discern, with just some very light scuffing on the tip of the headstock.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The fingerboard demonstrates some slight pitting from use on the first 4 frets, which cannot be felt underhand when playing. There is some light scratching to the heel of the neck.
Body: Overall excellent condition. There is a slight scratch on the lower bout of the front face towards the bass side. A series of indentations in an 'L' shape are also present centrally towards the bottom of the front face. All surfaces demonstrate light scratching as is common on high gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is plenty of material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform.
