Here for sale we have a Yamaha FG-502M acoustic guitar in Natural Open-Pore finish. Made in Taiwan, the FG-502M was offered in the early 2000's and featured an all-solid construction comprising an all Mahogany body, Mahogany neck  and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. The body is double bound, whilst the top is adorned with multi-strip purfling and rosette, as well as a tortoiseshell pickguard. A set of Chrome vintage-style tuning machines are fitted, completing a well-appointed instrument. 
 
The Satin finished Mahogany neck plays well, with its ‘C’ profile providing a comfortable playing experience, offering ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard feels smooth under the fingers, providing a smooth, consistent playing surface. The 16” radius is practical for a wide range of styles and playing techniques such as fingerstyle and chordal playing. The Dreadnaught body design fills the arms, offering a ‘connected’ feeling, whilst the lines of the body provide comfort in both seated and standing positions.
 
The Dreadnought body design delivers a blend of volume, power and timbral balance thanks to the Scalloped Bracing. This guitar provides a crisp mid range, warm bass and nuanced trebles providing a voice that covers a lot of styles. The all-solid construction ensures a lively and resonant playing experience with plenty of dynamic range. The Yamaha FG-502M projects superbly well, filling a room with ease, making this guitar perfect for a singer/songwriter or fingerstyle player.
