Here for sale we have a Yamaha BB234 Bass in Raspberry Red finish. Built in Indonesia as an affordable alternative to American made guitars without compromise to quality, this guitar features a set-neck construction including an Alder body, Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with a Vintage Style bridge, lightweight open gear tuners and Urea nut. This guitar features a PJ style pickup configuration consisting of a  VSP3n Split Coil in the neck and a  VSC3b Single Coil in the bridge. These are wired to independent volume knobs and a master tone.
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with its thin ‘C’ profile sitting comfortably slim in the hand providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Satin finish  to the neck makes for a very tactile and pleasing playing surface. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers, and with its 10” radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques whilst providing a pleasant and durable playing surface. The medium frets offer a rock solid playing experience.
 
The pickups sound very well balanced,  with plenty of warmth and growl in the P-single coil and a punchy bright tone in the J-single coil. When both pickups are engaged you get a hard hitting aggressive sound that will cut through the densest of mixes. A smooth low end is complemented with a rich mid range and bright highs that cut through in live performance situations. The independent tone knobs add extra versatility for sound shaping.
