Here for sale we have a Washburn XB-600 6 string electric bass in Emerald Green finish. Made in China, this bass features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome Hardware is fitted to this instrument including Washburn sealed tuning machines, 6 Saddle bridge and Metal Knurled control knobs. A pair of Washburn 961 bass pickups are installed, these are wired to a master volume, pickup blend knob and 2-band active EQ.
 
The Maple neck plays extremely well with its Thin ‘U’ shaped profile making fretting easy across all 6 strings. The Satin finish to the rear assists with easy fluidity of the 34” scale. The Rosewood fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, offering a smooth and durable playing surface across the register, The 15" radius is highly practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques offering the player a varied and enjoyable playing experience.
 
The pair of Washburn pickups produce a big warm tone as soon as you plug in. A deep and powerful low end is complemented well by a wide midrange and a soft clear treble response. The simple layout of the Active 2 band EQ offers the player a wide plethora of tonal options to explore. The Blend control makes dialling the perfect sound easier and allows for more options than a pickup selector.
