Here for sale we have a Vox AC4C1 1x12 valve combo in Historic 1963 Blue vinyl tolex with Tygon grill cloth and retro Bakelite handle. Built in China, this 1x12” all-tube combo amplifier features two 12AX7 preamp tubes and one EL84 tube in the power stage. These valves drive 4 watts of power through the 12” Celestion VX12 speaker which delivers the traditional “Vox” sound.
 
The AC4 has remained supremely popular over the years due to its simple, compact and hassle free design and rich warm sound of its tube driven tone.  The AC4C1 also delivers the class “chime” due to Vox’s iconic Top Boost. This amp features simple, user friendly tone controls that include Gain, Bass, Treble and Master Volume. The Gain control goes from dynamic clean tones to rich, warm overdrive. The rear of the amp features an extension speaker jack that lets you connect up to another 16 ohm guitar cab, effectively turning this amp into an all valve 4-watt head.
