Here for sale we have a Visual Sound V3 Route 66 American Overdrive and Compressor pedal. The V3 Route 66 is a dual pedal with compressor and overdrive circuits designed with the intention of, in Visual Sounds words, “capturing that American passion for freedom and its immutable longing for what lies just around the next bend”
 
Its compressor side has a Clean Mix knob that allows the user to mix dry signal back into the affected/compressed signal. The compressor side boasts an improved Noise Gate that can also be removed from the circuit via a top mounted switch. The fully analog Compressor side of this pedal can range from smooth and connected, to tight and punchy, to the heavy parallel compression sounds that are used by the pros.
 
The pedal’s overdrive circuit is based on the Reverend Drivetrain pedal, with an added Clean Mix control that blends overdrive and dry signal. A two-position Voice switch allows the user to vary overdrive tone between bright and open, or more saturated. This multi-functional Overdrive has a dynamic response to the player and offers “Voice” switching as well. This allows the player the freedom to vary the Overdrive tone from bright and open, to a more saturated gritty sound, to a fully saturated overdrive
 
Separate inputs and outputs so each side of the pedal can be used in a loop device, or midi switcher. Also possible to reverse the order of effects with a patch cable. Just like having 2 pedals, but in 1 housing.
 
Condition Report 
This pedal is in very good condition with minimal signs of use aside from some very small chips to the edges of the pedal. The pedal does not include the original box or a 9V power supply.
