Here for sale we have a Vintage VSA500CR-12 12 string semi-hollow electric guitar in Cherry Red finish. Made in China in 2020, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Maple body, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Wilkinson T-O-M style bridge and StopBar tailpiece, as well as a set of Wilkinson Deluxe tuning machines with Ivory buttons. A pair of Wilkinson Vintage Voiced WOCHB humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, and independent volume and tone controls. 
 
The Mahogany neck plays well, with Vintage's Soft 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial yet articulate grip across the register. The 1.79" nut width strikes a comfortable balance between ample string spacing and not being too wide and unwieldy, making this 12 string more friendly to six-string players than perhaps an acoustic 12 string would be. The offset neck heel results in a deeper treble side cutaway, making access to the upper frets much easier. The familiar lines of the body, clearly based on the ES-335 are comfortable and practical, ensuring that long sessions in either standing or seated positions are a breeze. 
 
The pair of Wilkinson Vintage Voiced humbucking pickups deliver bright and jangly tones, just as you would expect from a 12 string instrument. There is more warmth in the neck position, providing a more mellow tone which is perfect for any 12 string lead lines. The bridge position is of course brighter, bringing a lovely shimmer to the top end of those rhythm parts and chord sequences. The semi-hollow construction ensures a rich resonance which helps to keep the playing experience feeling lively. Perfect for anyone looking to add a reliable 12 string to their studio arsenal.
