Here for sale we have a Tokai TTE55B Telecaster in Lake Placid Blue finish. Made in Japan in 2014, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Swamp Ash body, Maple neck and 22 fret Maple fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted, including a 3-Chrome-Barrel-Saddle Vintage-Style string-through-body bridge and Vintage style Sealed tuning machines. A pair of Tokai single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls.
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with a 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial yet articulate grip across the register. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, providing a smooth and durable playing surface right the way up to the 21nd fret. Its 7.25 radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing; balanced perfectly between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines and solos. The Jumbo frets provide a rock-solid feel under the fingers whilst enhancing the feel of string bending and vibrato techniques, as well as reducing the pressure needed to fret a note for a speedier playing neck. 
 
The single-coil pickups provide the player with the traditional Tele sound that has long been sought after. These single-coils deliver a tight low end, clear and balanced midrange and a sparkling, crystalline treble response. The neck pickup is both warm and articulate, delivering a buttery smooth tone for your lead lines and solo tones.  The middle position is nicely balanced, and is well suited to funky rhythm parts and chordal playing. The bridge pickup really is the main event though, with a searing Tele 'Twang' that is perfectly suited to country licks and bluesy riffing, easily cutting through the mix to put your playing front and centre.
