Here for sale we have a Taylor 314 Acoustic Guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in the USA in 2001, this guitar consists of a solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Mahogany back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Grover tuners, an Ebony bridge, and a TUSQ nut. 
 
The Mahogany neck plays beautifully, with Taylor's neck profile providing a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The profile could perhaps be described as a fairly soft 'V' shape, which delivers plenty of character whilst remaining thin enough for fast articulate playing. The soft Satin finish to the rear assists with navigation of the 25.5" scale, whilst the fairly wide nut width at 1.75" ensures ample string spacing for accurate fretting. 
 
The acoustic voice of the Taylor 314 is bright and clear, with an unpronounced yet accurate low end, strong mid response and sparkling trebles which add a shimmer and chime to every note played on the instrument. The Grand Auditorium body design delivers the best of both large and compact bodies; sizable enough to produce a powerful and clear voice whilst remaining small enough to be comfortable in the arms. The solid Sitka Spruce top projects beautifully and offers a wide dynamic range, whilst producing a warm & more refined tone.
