Here for sale we have a Tanglewood TW47E Sundance electro acoustic guitar in Natural Gloss finish. This ‘Super Folk’ shaped guitar features an all solid construction comprising a Mahogany top, back and side, a Mahogany neck with a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other features of this guitar include a Rosewood bridge, tortoiseshell binding, Gold Grover machine heads and a Fishman Presys+ preamp.
The neck of this guitar is a joy to play, with the ‘C’ shape having a reasonably thick feel which offers the perfect balance between filling the hand and being comfortable to play for longer periods. The volute at the rear is an accurate pre-war feature and a single Venetian cutaway provides easy access to the upper frets. The ‘Super Folk’ shape body feels compact and sits comfortable when played in a seated position while still giving you great projection.
The tone of the TW47E is sweet and rich thanks to the all solid construction, with its Mahogany tonewoods giving it a lovely warm sound that will suit fingerpickers and singer-songwriters very well. The compact Super Folk body helps to balance the overall tone to give an even dynamic response. The Fishman Presys+ pickup system translates the tone of the guitar well, whilst giving plenty of tonal options thanks to the volume, 3 band EQ, phase switch and notch and brilliance controls. This is a guitar which offers excellent value for money given its all solid construction and solid hardware.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock:
Overall excellent condition, very light scratching is apparent visible to the front face only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Neck:
Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard. The finish to the heel is somewhat cloudy, this appears to be a flaw in manufacturing.
Body:
Overall excellent condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: fully functional with light signs of wear.
