Here for sale we have a Takamine EF261SBL Electro-Acoustic in Gloss Black finish.Crafted in Japan, this model is one of the most popular guitars produced by Takamine thanks to its understated good looks, sweet and mellow tone and excellent Takamine Graph-EX preamp.
 
The Mahogany neck is designed with easy reliable playability in mind with its 25.5” scale length and gloss finish to the rear ensuring fluid transitions and reach in all registers of the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to touch providing a tactile yet comfortable playing surface.
 
The body of the Takamine EF261SBL provides a warm resonance voice due to the Solid Cedar top and Mahogany back and sides complementing each other. The mid-sized body produces a sound with plenty of volume, clarity and sustain. The Takamine Graph-EX preamp provides plenty of variation in tone thanks to the 3-band EQ, allowing the user to adjust the low, mid and high frequencies independently. Combined with the unique Exciter control, this is a fantastic sounding guitar when plugged into an amp.

    Aesthetic Condition:

    Headstock:  Overall good condition, the top of the headstock presents various more or less noticeable scratches that do not affect the structure or function. All aspects of the headstock show light scratching that can be seen under direct light.

    Neck: Overall very good condition the neck presents a small crack in the lacquer underneath the nut bass side, however this is not structural. The back of the 7th fret treble side presents an indentation that can be seen under direct light. The neck does present very small indentations that can be seen under direct light.

    Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching to all surfaces is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes.

     

    Condition of Frets:

    The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use.

     

    Current Set Up:

    Truss Rod Condition: Fully functional & can be adjusted

    Hardware Condition: Fully functional with light signs of wear. A pickguard has been added in the past.

    Structural Condition: No concerns or issues to note

    Height of the string from the 12th Fret- Treble 2.5mm - Bass 3mm
