Here for sale we have a Sire Marcus Miller P10DX-4 String Electric Bass in Natural Flame Maple finish. Built in Indonesia in 2023 this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body with Solid Flame Maple Top, Roasted Flame Hard Maple neck topped with a Roasted Flame hard Maple with rolled-edge fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with chrome hardware including a Hipshot Kickass Bass Bridge bridge and Hipshot USA Ultralite Bass Tuning Machines. The pickups installed are a pair of Marcus Premium PJ Revolution Set pickups wired to a Marcus Heritage-3 preamp which comprises a Volume/Tone dual pot, Pickup Blender knob, Treble knob Middle / Middle Frequency dual pot, Bass knob and an Active and Passive mini toggle switch.
The Roasted Flame Hard Maple neck plays very well, with its ‘C’ shaped profile feeling nicely thin and dependable. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck makes for a responsive playing experience while the Roasted Flame Hard Maple fretboard with its rolled-edge fingerboard provides a smooth and pleasant feel under the fingers. The 9.5” radius strikes a perfect balance for easy fretting and sliding.
The Marcus Premium PJ Revolution Set pickups provide incredibly balanced yet pronounced tones that you would expect from a PJ-style bass. The iconic punchy J-Style sound can be heard from the Bridge pickup while the split coil pickup provides the classic hollow growl. The Marcus Heritage 3 preamp provides on board 3-band EQ with Active and Passive options giving you complete control over this extremely versatile bass. This bass has all the modern appointments you could need on a familiar yet classic style of bass.
