Here for sale we have a Schecter Blackjack SLS C-7 A in See-Thru Blue Burst finish. Made in Korea in 2013, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Quilted Maple top, 3-pc Maple neck and 24 fret Ebony fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Black Chrome hardware including a TonePros 7-String TOM w/ String-Thru Body and Schecter Locking tuning machines. The pickups installed are a pair of active Seymour Duncan BlackOuts AHB-1 humbuckers. These are wired to a 3-way blade switch, independent volume and master tone controls.
The 3-Piece Maple neck plays exceptionally well, with the Ultra Thin 'C' profile feeling slim, articulate and precise across the register. The Semi-Gloss finish to the rear of the neck is slick underhand and assists with speedy navigation of the 26.5" scale. The Ebony fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, and with its 12"-16" compound radius ensures that the playing experience is tailored to the needs of the player in all registers. Unrestricted access to the higher registers is granted thanks to the ‘Ultra Access’ neck joint. Extra Jumbo frets increase sustain whilst enhancing the feel of vibrato and string bending techniques. The locking tuner and string-through-body hardtail bridge offer convenience when re-stringing as well as rock-solid tuning stability, perfect for those drop tunings.
The pair of active Seymour Duncan BlackOuts AHB-1 humbuckers installed in this instrument deliver a thick, punchy tone that can easily handle all of the gain you can throw at them. The pickups provide a rich and detailed sound with highly precise definition in the low end for even the heaviest of riffs, all whilst delivering an organic feel and open tonal response that allows the true character of your guitar to come through. The active characteristics of the pickups ensure a high output that helps drive your amp into a full-throttle, saturated distortion tone, perfect for squealing pinch harmonics and searing solo tones. The independent volume and master controls offer comprehensive control of your tone without being intrusive to the playing experience. A no-nonsense instrument that is equipped for all of your heavy, crushing tonal needs.
