Here for sale we have a very special Sandberg Custom Thinline in Natural Matte Walnut and Flamed maple finish. Built in Braunschweig, Germany, Sandberg guitars are named after the street where its creator, Holger Stonjek, first started. Their aim is to make high quality instruments that look stunning and play perfectly.
 
Made in Germany in 2020, this bass features a bolt-on construction comprising a Mahogany body with Walnut and Flamed Maple top, Canadian Hardrock Maple neck and fretless Ebony fingerboard. Gold hardware is fitted to this instrument including Gold Sandberg sealed tuning machines, adjustable Ebony bridge with individual Brass string-thru posts. A Delano X-Tender Active/Passive pickup is installed, this is wired to an onboard active preamp with master volume with Push/Pull, bass boost/cut, midrange boost/cut and treble boost/cut.
 
The Canadian Hardrock Maple neck plays extremely well with its ‘C’ shaped profile which fills the hand nicely without being at all cumbersome. The Satin finish to the rear assists with easy fluidity of the 34” scale. The Fretless nature of the bass further enhances the effortless playing experience, the Ebony fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, offering a smooth and durable playing surface across the register, along with the discreet side inlays allows the player quick fret navigation without taking away from the overall clean look of the instrument. The 14" radius is highly practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques offering the player a varied and enjoyable play experience. 
 
The semi-hollow construction provides an open airiness to the sound which makes the instrument suitable for a wide range of genres whilst retaining a unique and unmistakable voice. The amplified tone of the Sandberg Custom Thinline covers all of the sonic bases you would need as a working musician thanks to the comprehensive yet straightforward controls. The uniquely shaped Delano X-Tender delivers a massive bottom, gutsy midrange growl and clear articulate top end. The active preamp delivers more control that can be manipulated through the comprehensive 3 band EQ which means you can boost or cut the Treble, Bass and Mids offering infinite tonal possibilities.
