Here for sale we have a Sadowsky MetroExpress 21-4 Vintage J/J electric bass in Black High Polish finish. Built in 2020 this bass features an Okoume body, a 'C' profile Maple neck, a 21 fret Maple fingerboard, along with a pair of Sadowsky J-Style single coil pickups, with controls for master volume, blend, treble and bass.
The satin finish neck plays well, feeling smooth and fluid in the hand, along with the 1.51" nut width making for a very playable neck overall, certainly one that the vast majority of players will get along with. The 'Just-A-Nut III' and the Sadowsky bridge with quick string release are great high-end touches on this instrument, really showing the attention to detail Sadowsky have put in. The body is pleasantly light at 7.9lbs, certainly a bass that spares your shoulders on long gigs.
The Sadowsky J-Style single coils have a tight and modern voicing, with a rich low end, a firm, punchy midrange, along with clear and articulate highs, without being overly harsh. The 4-way controls feel intuitive, while offering a great range of tonal options, with a particularly broad and musical sounding EQ. Overall a great workhorse bass, perfect for a player in need of a reliable instrument that will do it all!
