Here for sale we have a Recording King RM-998-D Resonator Guitar in Nickel finish. Made in China, this guitar consists of a Nickel-Plated Bell Brass body, a Mahogany neck, and a 19-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments consist of a Maple bridge with Ebony & Maple saddle, a 9.5" Aluminium Cone, and Sealed Die Cast tuners. 
 
The 'C' profile is well suited to a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and whilst its 16" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The smooth lines of the body are comfortable in the arms, with a reassuring weight to the body which provides a sense of dependability and substance to the playing experience. 
 
The tone of the RM-998-D is unmistakably 'resonator', delivering those early blues sounds that we know and love. There is plenty of dynamic range on offer, rewarding gentle picking with a soft and intimate tone, whilst strumming more firmly delivers plenty of power to help you be heard over the rest of the band. The instrument's voice really shines through when playing delta blues styles with a slide, offering an authentic playing experience and tone, with powerful low end and singing mids. The voice is full-bodied, offering a wide and dynamic tonal range which is just as at home as a solo instrument as it is as part of an ensemble.
