Here for sale we have a Navigator by ESP SA-120 in Cherry finish. Made in Japan circa.1980’s, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Maple body, a Mahogany neck and a 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Nickel hardware including Tune-O-Matic bridge and StopBar tailpiece, along with a set of Gibson Deluxe Kluson style tuning machines. A pair of Original Unbranded humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls.

The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile that can be described as a Thin ‘U’ that sits very comfortably in the hand and offers an articulate and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Gloss finish to the rear of the neck ensures that navigation of the 24.75" scale is an effortless affair, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard provides a pleasant and luxurious surface for the fingers. The 12" fingerboard radius strikes the perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending. The smooth lines of the body are as comfortable in the arms as ever, whilst the semi-hollow construction keeps the weight down and produces a resonant and lively playing experience.

Amplified, the pair of Original Unbranded humbuckers work in conjunction with the semi-hollow construction to deliver the full and thick sounds that we all expect from a semi-hollow style guitar. The guitar resonates beautifully, filling out the sound with a deep and rich character. The neck pickup is warm and round, and can handle plenty of gain meaning you can achieve anything from jazzy lines through to soaring rock and blues solo tones. The bridge pickup is hotter, driving the front end of an amp with ease and producing the bright, biting tones that cut right through the mix to put your playing front and centre. The traditional dual humbucker control layout feels very responsive, allowing you to explore a wide tonal palette right on the instrument.

Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
