Here for sale we have a Michael Kelly Patriot Custom in Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in Korea in 2009, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Flame Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 Jumbo fret Ebony fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Tune-O-Matic bridge, StopBar tailpiece and a set of Grover Rotomatic tuning machines. A pair of Rockfield SWC humbucking pickups have been installed in this guitar, these are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume with a push/pull coil-split for the neck pickup and a master tone control with a push/pull coil-split for the bridge pickup.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile that resembles a ‘D’ profile offering a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and with its 12" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The rounded lines of the LP body design are as comfortable in the arms as ever, whilst the single cutaway provides unobstructed access to the upper register.
The Rockfield SWC humbuckers that add bite, depth and volume to this guitar’s already impressive foundational tone. Both pickups feature coil-splitting capabilities, meaning that you can go from beefy humbucker kick to clean single-coil bite and clarity at the pull of a pot. This gives the player of this guitar so much more tonal diversity than a normal LPs style guitar and is the perfect instrument for players who need access to more tones on the fly.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Very light scuff marking is present to the rear face top edge, these can only be seen at close scrutiny. Very light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can only be seen under direct light as is common with Gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Very light scratching is present to the rear of the neck across the register, these can only be seen under direct light. All other aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are scattered across the rear face, these can be seen under direct light and have very lightly pierced the lacquer finish. All aspects of the body display light to mild scratching, these are most noticeable to the rear face near the control cavity, consistent with past use.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to the pickup covers. Al other aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
