Here for sale we have a Martin Dreadnought Junior electro-acoustic guitar in Satin Natural finish. Made in Mexico in 2016, this guitar features an all-solid construction comprising a Sitka Spruce top, Sapele back and sides, Select Hardwood neck and 20 fret Richlite fingerboard with matching bridge. A White Corian Saddle and Nut are fitted, along with a set of Chrome Martin sealed tuning machines. An undersaddle piezo pickup is installed, and is wired to the Fishman Presys VT preamp, with soundhole mounted controls for master volume and tone. 
 
The Select Hardwood neck plays very well, with Martin's High-Performance Taper profile feeling very comfortable and easy to manage. One might describe the profile as a soft 'V' shape, which is highly ergonomic and practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. The reduced body size ensures that the guitar is comfortable in the arms, ensuring long practice sessions and gigs are a breeze- not something that can often be said for a more traditionally-sized dreadnought. The Richlite fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its traditional 16" radius is comfortable and practical across the register.
 
The acoustic voice of the Martin Dreadnought Junior is very well balanced. Benefitting from both all-solid construction and the dreadnought body shape, the body's small stature delivers a more intimate tone than you would expect from a full sized dreadnought. The Sapele back and sides add a rich depth to the sound, whilst the Spruce top projects well and provides ample dynamic range. The addition of the Fishman pickup and preamp provides the versatility required for both live and recording situations, making this an instrument which will be ready for wherever the gig takes you.
